Arlo Leach

Arlo Leach sings modern, satirical stories over his traditional guitar and harmonica, and the result is a unique blend of not-quite-folk music. He plays regularly at coffeehouses, pubs, colleges, and outdoor events. Although hešs a big fan of music written before he was born (Dylan, the Beatles), Arlošs own style more resembles later, cerebral musicians like Robyn Hitchcock and Frank Black. He usually plays solo, but sometimes appears with a couple of sidemen, and is always on the lookout for permanent band members. Arlo grew up in rural Iowa, cultivated his music career for three years in Madison, Wisconsin, and is now thoroughly enjoying his new home in Chicagošs diverse North side.
